Directions and Lodging

The conference will take place in both the LaSells Center and the Alumni Center at Oregon State.

The university is served by major airlines through Portland Airport (PDX) in Portland, Oregon (about 1.5 hours by car) and Eugene Airport in Eugene, OR (about 1 hour by car). Getting to Oregon State University

From Portland Airport

The Hut Airport Shuttle runs from Portland to Corvallis. For complete information including rates and current schedules, call (541) 753-7831 or email office@hutshuttle.com.

Multiple car rental agencies are available at the Portland Airport. These include Avis Rent–A–Car (503-249-4950), Budget Rent–A–Car (503-249-4556), Dollar Rent–A–Car (503-249-4793), Enterprise Rent–A–Car (503-252-1500), and Hertz Rent–A–Car (503-249-8216).

From the Portland Airport, take I–205 South. After 24 miles, I–205 ends and feeds into I–5; you want to take the exit for I–5 South (Salem). Continue on I–5 South to Exit 228 for Corvallis. Turn right (west) and you are on Oregon Highway 34. This will take you directly into Corvallis. If you are heading for the main campus, cross the Willamette River Bridge onto Harrison Blvd. Two blocks from the bridge you will need to turn left (south) from Harrison onto 4th Street. Continue on 4th Street until you reach Jefferson Avenue, then turn right (west). When you pass 11th Street, the next right will take you into the parking lot and to the campus information booth. You can get a parking permit or campus directions there during business hours.


From Eugene Airport

The OmniShuttle runs from Eugene to Corvallis. For complete information including rates and current schedules, call 1-800-741-5097.

Multiple car rental agencies are available at the Eugene Airport.

When you exit the Eugene Airport you will be forced to make a right turn. Proceed to the stop sign at Airport Road and turn left. The first stoplight is in about a mile at Oregon Highway 99. Turn left (north) onto Highway 99. In about 13 miles you will go through the town of Junction City. At the fourth stoplight, Highway 99 splits into two parts: Highway 99W is a left turn and Highway 99E goes straight. Take Highway 99W to the left. In about 30 miles you come into Corvallis. Highway 99W turns into Third Street when you cross the bridge over the Mary's River; this is a one-way street that takes you through downtown Corvallis. Stay in the left lane on Third Street until you reach Jefferson Avenue, then turn left (west). When you pass 11th Street, the next right will take you into the parking lot and to the campus information booth. You can get a parking permit or campus directions there during business hours.

Registrants are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. We recommend you make reservations early.

Affordable Lodging on Campus at OSU

The OSU Shuttle picks of people from in front of the hotel and takes them to various locations around campus.
